My work has often been a representation of relationships with all their fragile vulnerabilities. The formal aspects of texture, color, form, balance, and rhythm, all brushing up against one another creating a visual language for the stories we hold and the ones we have lost. People and circumstances are always shifting, transparencies affecting the way we perceive ourselves and one another. All that is occurring on different planes within the same space intrigues me, and I hope to tell part of the story in a way that honors the subject and the concept.
